At Aunt Phyllis’ Legacy Dance Studio, we believe that Excellence is not an accident; it is a habit. As the flagship program of AP’s Legacy Academy, we operate as a performance-based studio where discipline, technical growth, and artistic integrity are the standard.

Enrollment is a pledge to uphold these professional expectations:

1. The Student’s Pledge

• Arrival & Readiness: I will arrive 10–15 minutes before my class begins, dressed in the required uniform, with my hair secured and my mind focused.

• Technical Integrity: I understand that dance is an art of precision. I will respect my instructors, apply corrections immediately, and master my curriculum both in and out of the studio.

• Brotherhood & Sisterhood: I will support my fellow dancers. We are a team, and our collective success depends on mutual respect and positive energy.

2. The Parent’s Partnership

• Communication: I will stay informed by reading all studio communications. I understand that the direct and energetic style of the Academy ensures clarity and success for my child.

• Consistency: I recognize that attendance is non-negotiable. Performance-based training requires every dancer to be present to ensure the safety and success of the ensemble.

• Financial Stewardship: As a nonprofit program, we rely on timely tuition and fee payments to maintain our high standards of operation. I commit to meeting all financial deadlines.

3. The "Legacy of the Wiz" Standard

Our annual production is a professional-grade showcase. In a performance-based environment, casting is a privilege earned through dedication.

• Students must maintain a 90% attendance record to remain in their assigned roles.

• Parents are expected to contribute volunteer hours, embodying the community-driven mission of the Academy.
